The cpu fan still went 4000 rpm and the conclusion was that it is a faulty owc cable.

The cpu fan will start ramping up speed slowly until it seems to be maxed out around 4000 rpm noisy. But my question is can this hurt the fan if its spinning almos. The odd fan s rpms are strangely high but it s the cpu fan that s out of control. The same goes if you see a low cpu temperature say around 45 and the fans are running at full speed.

I am in the process of trying to get a replacement however i m worried that the problem wont go away and something else is actually wrong i dont believe the cable and my original hd had the same problem. I dont care much now about the big sound it makes because i use a headset in game. It s not the hdd sdd temp sensor by the way since it s not the hdd fan that s spinning that hot but it certainly is one of the other sensors.
